PLUMBING TIPS FOR SUMMER

Summer is the warmest and the happiest season with the most fun activities. But unfortunately, with great privilege comes also big responsibility.

To have a perfect time with your friends and family you must take care of your plumbing because summer will bring extra wear to it

Here are some useful advise for avoiding any plumbing difficulties this season.

1. Pool inspection

What a great time we have enjoying the pool when the temperature is high!

Make sure you have it inspected so that everything is working alright (pumps, drains etc.)

2. Washing machine hoses

Kids are out of school playing, the weather is hot, summer is the season when more dirty clothes are filling up the hamper.

You have to make sure your washing machine is ready for a bigger load. Check the hoses for potential fissures.

3 . Water Heater

Having a house full of guests without hot water can be a really difficult and unpleasant event. Check your water heater for rust and for potential water in the pan.

4. Install a Water Purifier

One of the most important things to do in the summer to stay hydrated on hot days is installing a water purification system.

5. Blocked toilet.

What is worse than having the toilet clogged?

Keep a plunger handy for dealing with small blockages and your plumber's number for big emergencies.

6. Yard problems

Keep an eye on your yard for unusual plant growth in certain areas. A factor that creates these types of problems is potential standing water, commonly for a damaged sewer line. Standing water is not good and it can become a breeding ground for pesky insects.

May this summer be a time of no plumbing problems !
